Nicole Ferrier, Secretary

Originally hailing from Arkansas, Nicole Ferrier moved to New Orleans at a young age and proudly considers it home. She pursued a career in marketing and public relations, motivated by her desire to promote and share the many remarkable qualities of her vibrant birthplace with both the state and the world.

Nicole is a proud alumna of St. Joseph Academy in New Orleans. She furthered her education by studying Sociology at Laney College in Oakland, California, where she forged meaningful friendships and explored the beauty of the Great West. However, her heart led her back to New Orleans, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Communications from the University of New Orleans.

For 15 years, Nicole served as the Executive Director of Community Programs for the Jefferson Parish Government, gaining firsthand experience in the positive impact these programs had on the community. Her entrepreneurial spirit eventually inspired her to establish her own business, focusing on event planning, public relations and marketing consulting.

A respected figure in New Orleans, Nicole actively participates in various civic and volunteer organizations, including membership in the Leading Ladies Guild and the New Orleans Museum of Art. She also holds a position on the Board of the New Orleans Press Club. Passionate about empowering women, Nicole is involved with the Louisiana Center for Women in Government and Business, where she aims to enhance diversity and encourage greater involvement from young women in the region.

As a dedicated wife and mother, Nicole is grateful to have her wise and compassionate grandmother as one of her closest and most cherished mentors.
