Nicole Ferrier, Secretary

Nicole Ferrier identifies as a New Orleanian, even though her roots trace back to Texarkana, Arkansas. She dedicated 15 years to serving as the Executive Director for Jefferson Parish, collaborating with elected officials, national organizations, and community leaders within Jefferson Parish and its neighbors. Before her time in Jefferson Parish, Nicole built a career in public relations and marketing. Presently, she operates as a part-time event planner from her home. Throughout her professional journey, Nicole has been recognized with numerous community leadership awards.

Additionally, she spent eight years on the Restaurant Association and served on both state and local boards. Her commitment to professional organizations is evident in her nine-year tenure with The New Orleans Press Club, among others.

Currently, Nicole is actively involved in various charitable organizations, including boards for the Jefferson Performing Arts, Leading Ladies Guild, BRAVO, Angel’s Place, the Louisiana Center for Women in Government and Business, Festigals, The Men and Women of Fashion, Sideline Pass, and she is a charter member of The Club of New Orleans.

Nicole also delights in singing with the Calvary Choir and exploring new places. Her hobbies encompass painting, writing, decorating, and gardening.
