Katelyn Reagan Denty, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director

Katelyn Reagan Denty is a dynamic and dedicated leader committed to preserving the rich cultural heritage of the arts in New Orleans, Louisiana. Originally hailing from Hot Springs, Arkansas, Katelyn earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Arkansas, where she cultivated her love for adventure and travel. Her vivacious personality and unwavering commitment to service have earned her a diverse circle of friends and admirers.

Katelyn comes from a lineage of influential matriarchs, including her aunt, Sandra Thompson Herman, founder of Celebrate Canal, whose pioneering work in Louisiana politics, advocacy, and the arts has profoundly inspired Katelyn’s career path. 

In January of this year, Katelyn assumed the role of Chief Operations Officer and Executive Director of Celebrate Canal.   During her previous management career, she successfully guided her team through the challenges of the pandemic, maintaining business continuity and revenue. The meticulous attention to detail and strong relationship-building skills she honed during that time will be invaluable in her new role.

With her unwavering dedication, strong work ethic, and infectious enthusiasm, Katelyn Reagan Denty is set to leave a legacy at Celebrate Canal and within the City of New Orleans.
