Laurie Guimont, Chief Strategist

Laurie Guimont boasts a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in the pharmaceutical sector, specializing in sales management and sales training. 

As a manager, Laurie adeptly guided teams across various states, prioritizing both business development and the professional growth of her team members, many of whom she mentored into Senior and Executive roles. Her outstanding leadership has led her teams to receive numerous honors, including the esteemed Pinnacle Sales Award.

Early in her career, Laurie held the position of Vice President and Program Manager for The American Dream, a project dedicated to motivating students towards higher education and a drug-free lifestyle.

In 2017, Laurie found her calling in coaching communication and interview skills. She crafted the 3P Process (Prepare, Position, Persist) and recently authored an ebook, “Guide to Job Interview Success: Know Your Story, Own Your Career.”

Originally hailing from New Orleans, Laurie has lived in cities such as Dallas, Corpus Christi, Meridian, Virginia Beach, Memphis, Washington DC, Princeton, and Manhattan, but has since returned to her hometown of New Orleans, LA.

Laurie remains deeply engaged in her community, participating on several non-profit boards including the WYES Board of Trustees, the New Orleans Ballet Association (NOBA), and the Louisiana Center for Women in Government and Business. She also serves as the Immediate Past President of Ballet Resource And Volunteer Organization and Honoree Liasion of Men and Women of Fashion.  Laurie was recently inducted into the LCWGB Hall of Fame.  

Laurie is the proud mother of two accomplished children: Taryn Brown, who serves as Chief Legal Officer at Delta Utilities, and Drew J. Brown, MD, an orthopedic spine surgeon. She cherishes time with her three grandchildren, Elliette, Nori, and Drew V.
